Moorings Preschool is a collaborative community in which parents, students, and staff work together to help meet the unique needs of each child. We believe in a balanced, creative, and spiritual education that best meets the needs of our students and families. The Preschool Teacher is under the supervision of the Director of the Preschool and responsible for the implementation of activities promoting social, spiritual, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in each child.

Schedule:

The work schedule is determined by the operational needs of the Preschool, as assigned by the Preschool Director. The current operating hours of the preschool are from 8:10 AM and continuing for four hours and 20 minutes, each day worked. Positions will begin on or around August 25, 2025 and end on or around May 22, 2026.

Requirements and Qualifications:

A commitment to strong and healthy interpersonal relationships, teamwork, and support of church ministries and the Church's Christian mission. Certification as a Childcare Professional from an accredited source. Associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, teaching, or related field. Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred. Must meet all state licensure requirements, including State of Florida Level ll Background screening.

The following positions are available:

Two (2) VPK Lead Teachers with VPK certification for five (5) days per week

One (1) Three-Year-Old Lead Teacher for five (5) days per week

One (1) 18-24 month Lead Teacher for two (2) days per week

One (1) STEAM Teacher for one (1) day per week

One (1) Assistant Administrator for five (5) days per week
