PreK CLASS® 2nd Edition Crosswalk Training is designed for PreK teachers and directors to build understanding of the updates in the PreK CLASS 2nd Edition assessment. Participants will explore the crosswalk, compare changes between the previous and current editions, and learn how to use this resource to strengthen instructional practices, classroom interactions, and program quality.

Providers will be able to identify the benefits of music on children and their development. They will also be able to identify how children improve language thru music. There will be hands-on activities.

Providers will learn about the changes in the Pre-k CLASS 2nd edition.

Providers will have the opprotunity to explore the 2nd edition Dimensions Guide and learn how to use it to improve their CLASS scores.

Participants will identify the dimensions and behavioral markers within the Instructional Support domain, recognize key changes from the previous edition, and deepen their understanding of effective teacher-child interactions. By the end of the training, participants will be prepared to use this resource to strengthen instructional practices, support classroom observations, and promote continuous quality improvement.
