What is the Division of Early Learning?
The Division of Early Learning (DEL) serves as the principal organization responsible for enhancing school readiness. Its duties include providing final approval and conducting an annual review of coalitions and plans. DEL also ensures the effective use of federal, state, local, and private resources to maximize school readiness for children across the state.
Additionally, it adopts a system for measuring school readiness that provides objective data on expectations and helps assess program effectiveness. DEL is also responsible for developing performance standards, establishing outcome measures, and preparing a plan for school readiness assessment, which includes a uniform screening to gather objective data.
CareerSource Southwest Florida
CareerSource Southwest Florida is a partnership between business, labor, education, community, and government services that oversees work force development initiatives in Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee Counties.
