Responsible for providing strategic leadership, oversight, and support of early childhood education programs and initiatives that support school readiness and high-quality early learning environments for the Early Learning Coalition of Southwest Florida (ELC). Work involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality early learning services, supporting School Readiness and Voluntary Prekindergarten initiatives, and overseeing coaching and professional development, while ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines. Works closely variety of external vendors, service providers, agencies, and public and community organizations to improve child outcomes and strengthen the early learning system.

Position typically supervises employees and schedules day-to-day work activities to provide optimum efficiency and productivity. Position requires the ability to apply a wide application of principles, theories, and concepts to the assigned function or business area.
