The Early Learning Coalition of Southwest Florida serves the families of Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee Counties. It is our goal to make certain that children ages birth to five and beyond, have access to high quality early education experiences to cultivate their natural enthusiasm for learning.

Attention School Readiness License Exempt Providers
The implementation of Health and Safety Checklists for School Readiness Providers -License Exempt only- begins July 1, 2014. All guidance for use of the checklists is included in the memo from the Office of Early Learning.
The health and safety checklist must be completed, posted and submitted to the Early Learning Coalition by July 1 of each fiscal year. However for this year only (2014), the list must be submitted to the Early Learning Coalition by August 1, 2014. July is the grace period for implementing the checklist for your programs.

Providers Please Note - Payment Date Changes
The Early Learning Coalition of Southwest Florida strives to provide quality in every aspect of service delivery to our School Readiness and Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Providers. This includes timely provider payments. In order to maintain the current payment efficiency level, we are extending our SR and VPK payment date from the 15th of the month to the 20th of the month.
Effective for July reimbursement, payment is scheduled for Wednesday, August 20, 2014. We are providing advance notice of this change to ensure sufficient time to make any adjustments. See schedule of payments for dates.
