Parenting is not an easy task and many families need help understanding the challenges that go along with this important job. Whether the challenge is a baby not sleeping through the night, a toddler testing new found independence, or how to harness the energy of older children, there are resources available to help.

Parent Skill Building and Educational Opportunities
Free "Toddlers to Teens" Parent Education Class and Free Child Care:
An 8-session parent education program. This class does not require a referral and is designed for voluntary or court-ordered clients. Parents will learn about nurturing discipline techniques, how to build self-worth in themselves and their children, stress and anger management, feelings recognition and expression, among other topics. Classes are taught in a small group setting using video and hands-on activities. Family activity with the children follows the group work to operationalize the concepts covered in class.
