The Early Learning Coalition of Southwest Florida Board of Directors represents both public and private sector business leaders from Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee Counties. The ELC Board of Directors meets bi-monthly at the Early Learning Coalition Office. The public is invited to attend.

FY 2009-2010 Contracts

The following contracts are being posted for Board review:

  1. Contract # RMCA 0910 - Contract with Redlands Christian Migrant Association to provide VPK services.
  2. Contract # 4C0910 - Contract with Community Coordinated Care for Children, Inc. to provide SR & VPK services.
  3. ELCSWFL Grant Agreement with AWI for FY 2009-2010 - To provide early learning programs that include the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program (VPK) and the School Readiness Program (SR) including Childcare Resource and Referral and the Inclusion/Warm-line program.
  4. Coalition Office Lease Agreement amendment 2 for additional space.
  5. Contract # 3ELC0910 - Three Coalitions (Florida’s Heartland, Sarasota County and Southwest Florida) contract with Children’s Forum, Inc for Provider Quality Assurance Services.

The Early Learning Coalition of Southwest Florida is currently seeking new Board Members!

Being a Board Member requires an active and sincere interest in promoting quality early learning for young children and supporting families towards self sufficiency. Each Board Member will be expected to regularly attend Board meetings (generally held every other month); and participation in one or more Board Committees.
