The Early Learning Coalition of Southwest Florida Board of Directors represents both public and private sector business leaders from Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee Counties. The ELC Board of Directors meets bi-monthly at the Early Learning Coalition Office. The public is invited to attend.

A Board Orientation for new and current board members will be available immediately following every Board meeting. If you have not participated in a Board Orientation and would like to participate, please confirm your interest by contacting Nancy Starr at 239-634-1589 or calling the Coalition office at 239-267-4105.
FY 2011-2012 Contracts
The following draft contracts are being posted for Board review:
- Contract # 4C1112 - Contract with Community Coordinated Care for Children, Inc. to provide SR & VPK services.
- Contract # RCMA1112 - Contract with Redlands Christian Migrant Association to provide VPK services.
- ELCSWFL Grant Agreement (SW FLA ELGA 11-12) with AWI for FY 2011-2012 - To provide early learning programs that include the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program (VPK) and the School Readiness (SR) Program including Childcare Resource and Referral and the Inclusion/Warm-line programs.
- Contract # 3ELC1112 - Contract with the Children's Forum to conduct quality assurance assessments on SR and VPK providers in Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee counties.

The Early Learning Coalition of Southwest Florida is currently seeking new Board Members!
Being a Board Member requires an active and sincere interest in promoting quality early learning for young children and supporting families towards self sufficiency. Each Board Member will be expected to regularly attend Board meetings (generally held every other month); and participation in one or more Board Committees.
